Something about public tenders in Ukraine

Taking into account the holding of Euro 2012 in Ukraine there is a growth market of government tender relating to the construction of infrastructure for the European football championship (stadiums, hotels, roads, electrical substations, etc.)
In order to avoid of abuse in the market of gov tenders, to creation of competitive environment and to avert corruption, the national administration has introduced legislative mechanisms of regulation of state tendering process. Over the past five years, legislation and, accordingly, the rules in public procurement have changed a few times. The existing law of public procurement contains a provision on equal participation in procurement process, both domestic and foreign manufacturers, creating a competitive environment and providing efficient use of national finances.
